Dr. Kyle Fries
General & Reconstructive Dentist
Dr. Fries is a dedicated general dentist based in Fort Myers, Florida, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. A proud alumnus of Florida Atlantic University, he balanced academics and athletics as a student-athlete on the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer team, earning two Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medals. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
During his time in Kentucky, Dr. Fries participated in multiple volunteer outreach trips, providing essential dental care to underserved communities, collectively treating over 500 individuals. That early commitment to service continues to shape his practice philosophy today.
Since returning to South Florida, Dr. Fries has pursued advanced continuing education in several key areas of dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics, esthetic dentistry, and clear aligner therapy. He is a certified Invisalign provider and passionate about blending clinical precision with aesthetic outcomes to help patients feel confident in their smiles.
Dr. Fries believes that dentistry is not just about oral health—it's also about building trust and creating a comfortable, even fun, experience in the dental chair. Known for his friendly demeanor and meticulous care, he focuses on helping each patient achieve long-term wellness.
Outside of the office, Dr. Fries enjoys staying active, spending time at the beach, and exploring South Florida’s food scene with his girlfriend. A lifelong athlete and soccer enthusiast, he has coached youth soccer for over six years and remains deeply connected to the sports community. He proudly supports Chelsea FC, the Miami Heat, the Miami Dolphins, and the Florida Panthers. Dr. Fries comes from a close-knit family, with his parents still residing in Florida and his younger sister—a published author and screenwriter—living up north.
Dr. Kathleen E. Akers – DDS, MS
Dr. Akers, a Board Certified Periodontist, brings a wealth of experience in periodontal treatment and implantology. Her journey started at Vanderbilt University, moving through Creighton University to a Master's with a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Akers has been recognized for her contributions to both academia and community service. When she's not advancing periodontal health, she enjoys running, traveling, and outdoor activities.
